As 2015 winds down, Think is looking forward to 2016. It's bound to be an exciting year, and we're putting together an exciting line-up to match!

Here's a quick look at what we've got planned for 2016:

  • We've written about the long-term effects of student loan debt. Next year we'll address some potential solutions for North Carolina, where average public university tuition has skyrocketed by nearly 70 percent in 10 years.

  • Small businesses often get left out of discussions about economic development. We plan to focus on what the state can do to support small business development and entrepreneurship in the next few months.

  • Unfortunately, teacher pay is still a serious problem in our state. In 2016 Think will discuss new options for competitive teacher pay, professional development, recruitment and retention.

  • Millennials are now the largest generation in the country. They face unique challenges and have generationally distinct social and economic preferences. Think will run a series of pieces about issues as they specifically pertain to millennials.

That's just a handful of issues we want to tackle. What else would you add to the list? Click here to let us know.

Have a safe and happy holiday season, and we'll see you in the new year!
